Duncan Robinson Made NBA History In Heat-Pistons Game

On Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat  faced off against the Detroit Pistons in Michigan. 

The game was close, and the Heat won by a score of 104-101 (Bam Adebayo  made a buzzer-beater).  

Duncan Robinson had a fantastic game and finished with 30 points, four rebounds and five assists while shooting 10/15 from the field and 7/12 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time. 

The former Michigan star also made NBA history. 

Via NBA History: "Duncan Robinson is the fastest to 1,000 3-pointers in NBA history at 343 games, passing Buddy Hield at 350 games."

Robinson is in the middle of a productive season with averages of 13.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 40.6% from the three-point range in 61 games.

With the victory, the Heat improved to 37-30 in 67 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.   

On the road, the Heat are 20-15 in 35 games. 

Following the Pistons, they will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers.

As for the Pistons, they dropped to 12-55 in 67 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Following the Heat, the Pistons will visit the Boston Celtics on Monday evening.
