Draymond Green appears to throw shade at ex-Warriors teammate

Before inking a four-year, $100 million deal to remain with the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green took one last shot at his ex-teammate Jordan Poole.

The two infamously engaged in an altercation at a 2022 preseason practice, during which Green viciously punched Poole in the face for allegedly disrespecting HC Steve Kerr. Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards earlier this month, but that hasn't stopped Green's trolling.

In anticipation of Capital One's "The Match VIII," Green filmed a TikTok for Bleacher Report where he used a filter to blindly construct an NBA starting lineup. After selecting Darius Garland and Lauri Markkanen as his representatives for the Cavaliers and Jazz, Green was tasked with choosing a Wizard for the team.

However, Green coincidentally drew a blank before finally making his selection, which ended up being forward Kyle Kuzma.

"Who's still on Washington's team?" Green laughed. "Kuz, I'm taking Kuz at the four."

Although Green's latest jab might seem unnecessary, it's likely in response to learning that Poole's first move after getting dealt to Washington was to unfollow the four-time champion on Instagram.

When the Warriors failed to defend their 2022 title, Green seized the blame for their recent exit in the second round of the playoffs, citing his preseason punch as a contributing factor.

"None of [Golden State's regular season struggles] happen if [the altercation] doesn't happen ... we would still be playing, " Green told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith during Game 1 of last month's Western Conference Finals.

With Poole now removed from the locker room, perhaps the Warriors can regain their chemistry and return to their championship-winning ways.
