Another James Dolan property will appear on the New York Knicks' uniforms throughout the 2023-24 NBA season, as the Madison Square Garden Company announced that Sphere Entertainment Company has become the "Official Jersey Patch Partner of the New York Knicks."

The logo for Sphere, a spherical concert and entertainment overseen by Knicks owner and MSG Company CEO/executive chairman Dolan, will appear on all Knicks jerseys during the upcoming NBA campaign, beginning with Wednesday night's opener at home against the Boston Celtics (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).

“The MSG family of companies has an unrivaled portfolio of premium assets, and we are committed to ensuring that the strength of our brands and unique global reach continue to benefit one another in powerful ways,” MSG Sports president and chief operating officer David Hopkinson said in a statement. “This pairing brings together two globally-recognized brands – a revolutionary new venue that is literally changing the way people experience live entertainment, and one of the most recognized franchises in professional sports – to create an innovative partnership at the intersection of sports and entertainment.”

More recently, renowned filmmaker Darren Aronofsky's "Postcard from Earth," described as "a multisensory experience" in MSG's statement, at Sphere earlier this month,

The Knicks did not have an advertiser's jersey patch last season, though they previously bore the emblem of website building/hosting service Squarespace.
