Derrick Rose's Reverse Layup Went Viral In Grizzlies-Knicks Game

On Tuesday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies faced off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.  

The Knicks had control for most of the night and won by a score of 113-103.  

Donte DiVincenzo led the way with 32 points.  

Derrick Rose made his return to Madison Square Garden and had seven points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal while shooting 2/4 from the field and 1/1 from the three-point range in 12 minutes of playing time (he left the game early with an ankle  injury).    

Before Rose exited, the 2011 MVP had a fantastic highlight that got a lot of views on social media.

Rose has played in 18 games and is averaging 8.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest while shooting 44.7% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range. 

With the loss, the Grizzlies dropped to 18-33 in their first 51 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Western Conference.   

They are in the middle of a six-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games.  

Following the Knicks, the Grizzlies will return home to host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday evening in Memphis.

As for the Knicks, they improved to 33-18 in 51 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and will host the Dallas Mavericks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening.
