Darius Garland's Ankle-Breaker Went Viral In Celtics-Cavs Game
USA TODAY Sports

On Tuesday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers  are hosting the Boston Celtics in Ohio.

During the first half, 2022 NBA All-Star Darius Garland had a big  highlight that got a lot of views on social media.

The former Vanderbilt star drove to the basket before stepping back and using a crossover to create space (which dropped Sam Hauser to the ground).

Garland entered the evening with averages of 18.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range in 36 games.

The Cavs are also among the best teams in the league with a 39-21 record in 60 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games but most recently lost to the New York Knicks by a score of 107-98.

Garland had 19 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 7/14 from the field and 5/8 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.

Following the Celtics, the Cavs will play the second night of a back-to-back when they visit the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia on Wednesday.

Garland was the fifth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and is in his fifth season in the league (all with Cleveland).

His career averages are 18.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 45.0% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range in 286 games.

Last season, Garland helped the Cavs reach the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2018.
