While a majority of Sunday's focus was surrounding the NBA's 73rd All-Star game, which featured Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey and the Eastern Conference cruising to a dominant 25-point victory, the G-League held an event of their own.

Earlier on in the day, the G-League held their "Up Next" game, which features the biggest names split among four teams, playing in an elimination bracket.

While there were initially supposed to be two players present, Darius Bazley and Kenneth Lofton Jr, from the 76ers' G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, only Bazley ended up playing as Lofton was replaced by Kyle Mangas of the Indiana Mad Ants.

Prior to the start of the event, Bazley was selected by Team Strictly, joining the frontcourt consisting of Luka Garza and Dominick Barlow.

In the second match of the event, Team Strictly was set to take on Team EarnYourLeisure, in a match that saw Bazley show off his game.

The 23-year-old recorded seven points on 42 percent shooting, while also recording five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

While Bazley's seven points don't sound like a whole lot, given that the games only go up to 30 points, it means that the Blue Coats star was nearly responsible for a third of his team's points.

This is reflected in the fact that he was the joint top scorer for Team Strictly, sharing the honor with the aforementioned Barlow.

Bazley's efforts wouldn't be enough to get Team Strictly to the finals match as they fell 30-27.
