There was no shortage of action during Sunday’s matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Utah Jazz. This included a heated scuffle between both sides after Collin Sexton sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the ground with an elbow to the face. The Bucks were having none of it, though, and it resulted in a confrontation between the players on both teams.

Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Takes Elbow to Face

The incident transpired late in the second quarter of the game. Sexton found himself matched up against Antetokounmpo 1-on-1 and the Jazz guard decided to take it to the rack against the former Defensive Player of the Year.

Giannis ended up taking an elbow straight to the face, which had him wincing in pain on the floor. Bucks guard Malik Beasley did not like what he saw, and he decided to deliver a message to Sexton:

You can see in the replay that Sexton appears to have had a few things to say to Antetokounmpo as the latter was lying on the floor. Beasley had to come to his teammate’s defense, so he decided to hit Sexton with a forceful shoulder nudge, also sending the Jazz guard to the floor.

Things got heated and both players had to be separated by their respective teams. After reviewing the incident, the game officials decided to slap both Sexton and Beasley with technical fouls.

You have to note that these two used to be teammates during Beasley’s brief stint with the Jazz last season. There’s no love lost between them, though.
