Cavs G Darius Garland (broken jaw) set to return Wed.
David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star point guard Darius Garland is set to make his return Wednesday night from a broken jaw he suffered in mid-December.

Garland is officially listed as questionable vs. the visiting Detroit Pistons, but he participated in the morning shootaround and The Athletic reported he'll play.

It's the second boost this week for the Cavaliers, who welcomed back forward Evan Mobley (knee) Monday night. The Cavaliers went 15-4 with Garland and Mobley sidelined.

Garland, 24, broke his jaw Dec. 14 in a game against the Boston Celtics. His jaw was wired shut for a month. He's averaging 20.7 points and 5.9 assists in 20 starts. He made the All-Star team in 2021-22.

Garland and Mobley will be on minutes restrictions as they work their way into game shape.
