Bulls to Waive Malcolm Hill, Sign Terry Taylor to Two-Way Deal
David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

Hill, a University of Illinois alum, appeared in just five games this season.

The Chicago Bulls plan to waive Malcolm Hill and sign Terry Taylor to a two-way contract, per a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski Tuesday.

Hill signed a two-way contract with the Bulls in September, but logged just nine minutes of action this season. He averaged 15.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals in 15 games with the Windy City Bulls.

Terry, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound power forward, played 59 games for Indiana since the start of last season. He recorded career-highs in both points (24) and rebounds (16) against Orlando on Feb. 2, 2022.

The 23-year-old lefty averaged 33.8 points and 11.3 rebounds in four games with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers’ G-League affiliate, this season. He also shot 64.3% from deep on 3.5 attempts, but has converted just 28.6% of his looks on the main stage.

This latest roster move comes on the heels of the Chicago Bulls officially shelving Lonzo Ball and reportedly looking to bring Patrick Beverley into the fold.
