Brogdon 'Checks Every Box'; Trade with Rockets Coming?

"Houston needs help virtually everywhere, but shooting is a massive need, and the second unit could use more creation and scoring punch," Bleacher Report writes. "Brogdon could check every box, and given his experience and ability to play on or off the ball, he might factor into the closing lineup, too."

With Brogdon now on the Blazers, a team full steam ahead toward a rebuild, young players and draft picks will be heavily coveted by them. While the Rockets can easily satisfy both of those needs, they'd have to feel confident Brogdon will be the guy who can take the team to the next level. 

Brogdon, 31, is averaging 16.2 points and 5.7 assists for the Blazers this season. Portland rookie point guard Scoot Henderson continues to impress, so the team might look to move Brogdon to open up playing time for him. 

Perhaps a player like Jae'Sean Tate or Cam Whitmore would be Portland's asking price. That would be a hefty price to get a player like Brogdon, but it satisfies needs to be met sooner rather than later.
