NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Jeremy Clements did just about the dumbest thing you could do… just when NASCAR was trying to introduce a new audience to the sport, Mr. Clements does his best to send them back to Civil War era. MTV reporter Marty Beckerman was speaking Clements and a NASCAR official, when Clements used ‘a phrase that used the n-word’ in a conversation about driving and not in reference to another driver, according to report from USA Today. On Wednesday, NASCAR indefinitely suspended Clements for the ”intolerable and insensitive remark” and violating its ”Code of Conduct.” The question is, what exactly did Clements say? All we know is that it was in reference to driving and somehow included the n-word. Beckerman says the driver called him to apologize for the remark.
