Veteran welterweight fighter Jesse Ronson had not appeared on the UFC stage since all the way back in 2014 after losing to Francisco Trinaldo during UFC Fight Night 36.
That changed at Fight Island Saturday evening. Ronson took on a heavily favored Nicolas Dalby in a preliminary bout. In absolutely stunning fashion, the Canadian ( +220) took out Dalby (-300) with a rear-naked choke in Round 1.
It was something to see.

What an absolutely feel-good story here.
Those around the UFC world, other fighters included, had their reactions to the stunning development in Abu Dhabi. That started with Ronson himself.
