UFC flyweight veteran Joanne Wood's upcoming return at UFC 299 could be the last fight of her career.

Wood will face Maryna Moroz for the second time in their careers at UFC 299 on March 9th. She returns after a split decision win over Luana Carolina at UFC 286 last March.

Wood has been a mainstay of the UFC flyweight title picture during her illustrious career. She's faced most of the top 125lbers in recent UFC flyweight history.

After a long promotional run that stems from her The Ultimate Fighter Season 20 stint, Wood appears ready to hang up the gloves.

In a recent Instagram post, Wood hinted that UFC 299 will be her last UFC hurrah.

"Last one, best one!" Wood posted Thursday.

Wood made her UFC debut on the TUF 20 Finale card, defeating Seo Hee Ham by unanimous decision. She went on to lose to Moroz in her next fight by first-round armbar.

Wood has earned wins over the likes of Jessica Eye, Andrea Lee, and Ariane Lipski during her UFC tenure. She's faced a slew of top names such as Rose Namajunas, Alexa Grasso, and Jéssica Andrade.

Wood made her professional MMA debut in 2012 during a stint in On Top. She went on to earn wins in promotions like Invicta FC and Cage Warriors before making her way to the sport's biggest platform.

If this is the 38-year-old Wood's final fight, she's enjoyed a successful run in the Octagon and will look to end her career with another memorable moment.

UFC 299 is a stacked card headlined by a UFC bantamweight title fight between Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera.
