The Baltimore Orioles tagged Dylan Bundy for nine runs as they handed the Minnesota Twins a 9-4 loss on Wednesday night.

Bundy made the start against the team that selected him with the fourth overall pick in the 2011 MLB Draft. Although he has turned his career around during stints with the Los Angeles Angels and Twins, he struggled against the Orioles.

Baltimore got to Bundy in the third inning, scoring six runs including a pair of two-run homers from Cedric Mullins and Ramon Urias. With three more runs in the fourth, Bundy allowed nine runs on 11 hits and two walks over 3.2 innings.

The Twins tried to make it a game in the top of the fourth when they scored four runs off Baltimore starter Kyle Bradish. Although Carlos Correa hit a two-run homer, they couldn't complete the rally after a line drive off Gilberto Celestino hit Gary Sanchez on the basepaths for the third out.

It would prove to be the Twins' best rally of the night as the Baltimore bullpen tossed five shutout innings to hand the Twins just their second loss in the past 13 games.

The Twins will look to win the four-game series in Baltimore on Thursday night Chris Archer takes the mound against Spenser Watkins.
