MLB home run props for Tuesday 4/9: We like Witt to get the big hit

We stayed hot with our home run props on Monday night, cashing Christian Yelich to go yard at +560. That's two straight days with a cash to give us a winner in four of our last six. Let's keep our foot on the gas with three more HR props for Tuesday's MLB slate.

Brandon Nimmo (+560 FanDuel)

Mets vs. Braves, 7:20 p.m. ET

Brandon Nimmo is batting just .212 and slugging .424 to start the season, but the advanced statistics imply that he's been a bit unlucky. According to Baseball Savant, the New York Mets outfielder has the third-highest xwOBA (.500), the fifth-highest average exit velocity and the seventh-highest expected slugging percentage (.703) in MLB. Nimmo is swinging the bat well and hitting with power, and his home run odds don't accurately reflect that.

Eugenio Suarez (+360 FD)

Diamondbacks vs. Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET

We used advanced stats for our first selection, but we're going a different route with our second pick. If the Colorado Rockies are playing a home game, you can almost guarantee we'll have at least one home run bet on the game because of how friendly Coors Field is to power hitters. For Tuesday night, let's roll with Eugenio Suarez. In 14 career at-bats against Rockies starter Cal Quantrill, Suarez is batting .429 with five singles and a double. This is a great matchup and a fair price on a consistent power hitter.

Bobby Witt Jr. (+470 FD)

Astros vs. Royals, 7:40 p.m. ET

There aren't many hitters swinging the bat better than Bobby Witt Jr. to start the season. The Kansas City Royals shortstop leads MLB this season in hard-hit percentage (72.4 percent) and average exit velocity (99.9 miles per hour) and ranks second in xwOBA (.528) and expected slugging percentage (.836). Witt also has two hits, including a home run, in three career plate appearances against Houston Astros starter Cristian Javier. We're riding the hot hand with this one.
