If you're reading this, I hope you're checking back in after cashing a +285 ticket and a +1700 bomb from Friday's home run props. What a day! Let's try to do it again with my three favorite home run bets for Saturday's MLB slate.
I have no intention of getting off the Bryce Harper train. The Philadelphia Phillies slugger hasn't gone yard in 23 straight games, but he's been seeing the ball well and hitting it hard recently. In 22 career at-bats against Max Scherzer, Harper is hitting .273 with three homers. A breakout is coming.
According to Ballpark Pal, there will be a 24 percent boost to home runs at Yankee Stadium Saturday due to the weather and the wind blowing out to left field. With righty Jon Gray on the mound for the Texas Rangers, I'll take a shot at Anthony Rizzo, who's hit 10 of his 12 homers this year off righties.
I would be a fool not to go back to this matchup Saturday. Friday's game between the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds saw 21 total runs and nine home runs, and a big thank you to Matt Olson for smashing two to cash our +1700 ticket. Let's run it back Saturday with Austin Riley, who's hit two home runs over his last three games and has effortless power to both sides of the field.
