The Dodgers hit five home runs in the win, with two of those homers coming from star Mookie Betts.

Betts went 3-for-4 on the night with the two homers, adding two runs scored and four RBI. His performance also tied him atop this list in baseball history with the legendary Lou Gehrig.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Mookie Betts has his 23rd career game with 3 extra-base hits, tying Lou Gehrig for the most by a player age 30 or younger since 1900

It's been another monster season for Betts, who is hitting .277 with 25 homers and 61 RBI. He was just named to the National League All-Star team and will be participating in the home run derby as well.

The Dodgers are in second place in the National League West, 0.5 games behind the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Angels have lost eight of their last 10 games and four straight to fall into fourth now in the American League West.

The Dodgers and Angels will play again on Saturday at 9:10 p.m. ET.

Reid Detmers will pitch for the Angels while the Dodgers haven't announced a starter at this time.
