Cleveland Guardians' Josh Naylor Has Awesome Reaction to Brother Bo Naylor's First Major League Hit
USA TODAY Sports

There's nothing like a little brotherly love.

That was very evident on Wednesday night in Cleveland as Cleveland Guardians player Josh Naylor had a great reaction to his brother Bo recording his first major league hit.

Bo Naylor, who was just called up again this week, singled against the Oakland Athletics in the eighth inning and the camera panned to the dugout to find Josh, who was all smiles.

The hit was a crucial one too, because it helped fuel a two-run eighth inning that allowed the Guardians to come back and win, 7-6.

Bo Naylor is now 1-12 on the season. The 23-year-old came up briefly in 2022 and went 0-8 in five games.

He was a first-round pick of the Guardians in 2018 out of Canada.

It was a good night for the Naylor family all around as Josh went 4-4 in the win. He's now hitting .295 this season with nine homers and 55 RBI. He's got an OPS of .802. For his career, he's a .261 hitter with 45 homers. He made his major league debut in 2019.

With the win, the Guardians are now 35-38 on the season while the A's dropped to 19-57 with the loss. Cleveland is now 0.5 games out of first place in the American League Central and if the Twins lose to Boston (currently 4-4 top 9), they'll fall into a tie.

The Guardians and A's will finish out their series on Thursday afternoon at 1:10 p.m. ET.
