Christian Yelich on verge of becoming fifth player to reach 100 HRs/100 steals in a Brewers uniform

On July 5^th last season, Christian Yelich stole career base #150 against the Chicago Cubs. In doing so, Yelich became the 107^th player in Major League history to join the 150/150 Club… 150 or more career stolen bases and 150 or more career home runs.

As we approach the 2023 season, Yelich has 174 career HRs and 156 career stolen bases in his 10 years in the majors.

It’s interesting to note that Yelich is also the 16^th player in this 150/150 club who has played for the Milwaukee Brewers at one time in their career. Here’s a list of the 16 players from the MLB 150/150 Club who spent time in a Brewers uniform:

Yelich could become the next Milwaukee player to reach 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases in a Brewers uniform. As a member of the Brew Crew. Yelich has 115 home runs and 84 stolen bases, thus leaving him 16 steals short of this group. For the record, Yelich had 19 stolen bases for the Brewers last season.

Yelich is one of eight players who had 20 or more home runs and 20 or more stolen bases in a season with the Brewers. In fact, Yelich is one of only four players to reach these numbers in multiple seasons. He had 36 HRs and 22 steals in 2018 and then had 44 HRs and 30 steals in 2019.
