Cardinals pitcher Jack Flaherty turns hotel room into bullpen amid team's COVID-19 outbreak

Much like the Miami Marlins, the St. Louis Cardinals are facing a coronavirus outbreak. With players quarantined in their Milwaukee hotel rooms, one pitcher has decided to get a little creative.

Jack Flaherty shared a photo of his hotel room on Sunday and revealed he's transformed it into a bullpen of sorts. He even took the chance to make a joke about Joe Kelly breaking his window during quarantine.

Throwing a baseball into a hotel room mattress isn't necessarily a great idea, but Flaherty, who is confined to his room, is trying to find ways to stay in shape.

The Cardinals reportedly have had at least six members of their organization test positive for the coronavirus. As of Sunday, the team was bracing for additional positive tests.

St. Louis' outbreak comes after 21 members of the Miami Marlins organization tested positive for the coronavirus.

MLB's investigation into the Marlins' coronavirus outbreak found that the team didn't follow health and safety protocols while in Atlanta during a preseason road trip, according to Bleacher Report's Scott Miller.

The coronavirus also has made its way to other Major League Baseball clubhouses. The Philadelphia Phillies' weekend series against the Toronto Blue Jays has been postponed after multiple members of the organization have tested positive for COVID-19.
