Hiura is hitting .239/.354/.451 with eight home runs and 17 RBI while with the Brewers this season. His .805 OPS is third on the team behind Mike Brosseau and Victor Caratini. In five games with Nashville, Hiura is hitting .421/.522/.895 with three home runs and 10 RBI.
Connor Sadzeck will be making his first MLB appearance (assuming he is used) since 2019. In 33 career games (and innings), he has a 0-1 record with a 2.18 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. Sadzeck did not play in 2020 due to the minor-league season being canceled. He pitched for the Chicago White Sox Triple-A affiliate before being released in August of 2021. The Brewers then signed him as a free agent.
In 24 games this season with Nashville, Sadzeck has a 0.96 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. He is 1-1 with three saves and 35 strikeouts in 28 innings.
