Best MLB strikeout bets: 3 strikeout props for Thursday 6/15

We've been feeling it with our K props this week, and we've got 10 more games to target for Thursday night's schedule. Here are my three favorite strikeout props for the day.

Kyle Freeland under 3.5 Ks (-118 FD)

The Atlanta Braves have absolutely demolished lefties this season. Atlanta is hitting .295 and slugging .540 against left-handed pitchers, which isn't great news for Colorado Rockies starter Kyle Freeland. Freeland has gone over this number only twice in his last five starts, and I don't see him lasting very long against this loaded lineup.

Cristian Javier under 5.5 Ks (-160 FD)

I've been fading every pitcher going up against the Washington Nationals this week, and it's worked out rather nicely. The Nats have averaged just 6.2 strikeouts over their last 10 games, which is the best mark in the majors by a wide margin. Cristian Javier hasn't cleared 5.5 Ks in five straight starts, so even though you're laying a ton of juice, I still think this has a better chance of hitting than the odds imply.

Matthew Boyd over 5.5 Ks (+105 DK)

Just as I've been fading pitchers against the Nationals, I've also been riding pitchers going up against the Minnesota Twins. The Twins have averaged 10.2 strikeouts over their last 12 games, which is the second-highest mark in the league over that span. Matthew Boyd is averaging 5.75 Ks over his last four starts, so I think this is worth a sprinkle at plus odds.
