Golf world reacts to Brendon Todd melting down on 12th hole of final round at Travelers Championship

Brendon Todd was just two strokes behind leader Dustin Johnson Sunday heading into the 12th hole in the final round of the Travelers Championship. Then it all fell apart.

The 34-year-old pro absolutely melted down, carding a triple-bogey seven on the par-3 12th hole, dropping to -15 overall on the tournament and five shots off the lead.

Golf is hard.

Brendan Todd’s triple bogey on hole 12 looked exactly like about 16 of my 18 holes on an average round.

Horrible shot on a chip from a bad angle results in ball sailing over the green. Next chip fails to get back up the hill and rolls down. Then another bad chip, and bad putt.
