Best current players to never win a major

The second-ranked golfer in the world, Rahm has 10 professional wins but has yet to add a major. The Spaniard has plenty of time at age 25.

Only a pro since 2012, Cantlay is currently the seventh-ranked golfer in the world. Cantlay has three professional wins, but the closest he's come to winning a major was third place at the 2019 PGA Championship.

A relatively inexperienced pro golfer at age 29, Fleetwood has five wins on the European Tour in his career. Ranked 10th in the world, Fleetwood finished second at the U.S. open in 2018 and second at the Open Championship last year.

A 26-year-old upstart from California, Schauffele already has four professional wins in his career. He was the 2017 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year and finished tied for second at last year's Masters and second at the 2018 Open Championship

The 26-year-old California native does not have a major on his resume yet but did win the NCAA Division I Championship and the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2015 and is currently ranked 13th in the world. He has five PGA Tour wins.

A 36-year-old from Australia, Leishman has five career wins on the PGA Tour. He has top 18 finishes in all four majors but has never finished better than tied for second, which he did at the Open Championship in 2015.

Finau has two wins to his credit as a pro and is the 16th-ranked golfer in the world. The 30-year-old's best finish in a major was third in the 2019 British Open.

The 17th-ranked golfer in the world, Kuchar has nine PGA Tour wins in his career and has come awfully close to winning a major. He finished tied for third at the 2012 Masters and second at the 2017 Open Championship.

The 21st-ranked golfer in the world, Hatton finished fifth in the 2016 British Open but doesn't have another top five finish in a major.

The 28-year-old Matsuyama has an impressive five wins on the PGA Tour but has yet to claim a win in the majors. His closest finish was tied for second place in the 2017 U.S. Open.

Im is just 22 years old but already has four professional wins under his belt, helping him rank 23rd in the world. His best finish in a major was 42nd at the 2018 PGA Championship

Casey is currently the 24th-ranked golfer in the world and has come close to winning a major in the past, finishing tied for third at the British Open in 2010 and tied for fourth at the Masters in 2016. He has only three PGA Tour wins in his career but 14 wins on the European Tour.

Just 25, Fitzpatrick is one of the world's best young golfers, currently ranked 25th in the world. His best finish in a major to this point was tied for seventh in the 2016 Masters.

The 34-year-old Wiesberger has 11 professional wins and is ranked 26th in the world. His best finish in a major was 15th at the 2014 PGA Championship.

One of the world's best-known golfers, Fowler has a top five finish in all four majors but has yet to claim one. Known for his boisterous fashion choices, Fowler does have five PGA Tour victories in his career, and he finished second in the 2018 Masters.

Ancer is the 29th-ranked golfer in the world and has two professional wins, none on the PGA Tour, at age 29. His best finish in a major was tied for 16th at the 2019 PGA Championship.

Na is the 30th-ranked golfer in the world and a winner of seven professional tournaments. His best finish in a major was seventh in the 2016 U.S. Open.

Westwood has come oh-so-close to winning each major tournament, with top three finishes in each, but he's fallen short. He's the 31st-ranked golfer in the world.

Horschel ranks as the 34th-best golfer in the world and has five professional wins. He came close to winning the 2013 U.S. Open, finishing tied for fourth place.

The 26-year-old Smith finished tied for fourth at the 2015 U.S. Open and tied for fifth at the 2018 Masters, but he has yet to win a major. He does have four pro wins, ranking 35th in the world.

A 36-year-old from South Carolina, and ranked 36th, Kisner has nine professional wins during his career, including three PGA Tour wins. He finally came close to winning a major, finishing tied for second in the Open Championship in 2018. Before that his best finish was tied for seventh at the 2017 PGA Championship.
