Watch: Gerard Pique listens to Shakira in his car, despite couple having now split

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has been filmed listening to Shakira in his car – despite the pair only announcing their split last month.

Pique and Shakira were football’s favourite power couple, with anyone who invested in the pair’s relationship desperately hoping that they’d make it til the end.

However, the pair released a joint statement in June revealing that they had gone their separate ways. Their relationship had come to an end after many a year.

While that wound is unlikely to have healed just yet for Pique, it hasn’t stopped him from listening to Shakira’s music, as he was filmed doing while in the car.

They may no longer be together, but he’s still a fan – and who could blame him?
