Your USC Trojans women's basketball team has been ranked as the third-best team in the nation in the latest Associated Press poll!
Per Arash Markazi of The Sporting Tribune, this marks the first time in the last 38 years that the Women of Troy have earned a top-three ranking in the AP poll. It's a remarkable achievement for the 26-5 club, fresh off winning the Pac-12 Tournament championship Sunday afternoon over the now No. 4-ranked Stanford Cardinal (28-5), who were bumped two slots as a result.
Only Caitlin Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes (29-4) and the still undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks (32-0) are considered super clubs heading into March Madness.
