New Mexico State Aggies stats

New Mexico State has accumulated eight consecutive victories on its way to the championship. They come off a 20-17 win against the Jax State Gamecocks in their latest appearance and hold a conference record of 7-1, with their only interdivisional loss coming against the Flames.

The champions of the Quick Lane Bowl 2022 will strive to secure a conference title for the first time since 1978 when, under the leadership of Gil Krueger, they won the Missouri Valley Conference. This would be their fifth title overall and the first since joining the C-USA.
