The Nebraska Cornhuskers recently sent an offer to a talented 2026 prospect.

Jaydin Broadnax is a safety prospect from West Boca Raton High School in Boca Raton, Florida. The first thing that catches the eye of a person looking at his profile would be his size! His size is what an NFL scout would drool over as he is 6-foot-3. The only thing is he is listed at 175 pounds. By the time he hits college, he will look like an NFL star. The four-star safety is ranked in the top 250 in the nation.

He holds many offers including Nebraska, Illinois, Virginia Tech, and many more. Following his offer from Nebraska the talented four-star spoke with HuskerMax.

“It was very cool to receive a Nebraska offer,” Broadnax said. “It was truly a blessing to receive an offer from a staff that is known for producing the best.”

“Something that makes Nebraska unique to me is the winning culture. I know they’ve won 5 national championships in the past so that’s key to note.”

He talked about which coach in particular he had the chance to speak with.

“I had a chance to connect with coach Phil Simpson (Defensive Quality Control), it went very well we talked about the school, what he sees in me, and how I could fit in the Cornhusker defensive back group. They told me what defensive scheme they play and they know I fit in it. They like love long man-to-man guys, with good top-end speed which I have.”

He does hope to visit the Huskers.

“I haven’t set up a visit yet but in the future, I’d love to get up to Nebraska.”

“As of today Nebraska is within my Top schools.”
