Toto Wolff calls for utmost-transparency in the Mohammed Ben Sulayem race-intervention saga

While the investigation is currently in progress, Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff wants to see the utmost transparency in the whole matter.

Sulayem is being investigated for a potential role in Fernando Alonso‘s third-place finish in at the Saudi Arabian GP. Moreover, he is also in the firing line for allegedly pushing the officials to not certify the new Las Vegas F1 circuit in order to cancel the event.

Toto Wolff’s key Mercedes figure could leave for Ferrari

While Toto Wolff has not held back from voicing his strong opinion on the Mohammed Ben Sulayem investigation, he has other things to worry about at Mercedes. The Brackley-based team could lose out on its Driver development director, Jerome D’Ambrosio at the end of this year.

D’Ambrosis’s contract is up at the end of 2024 and as per reports, he is looking to leave Mercedes to join Ferrari next year.

I think he's with us at the moment and the situation is more personal reasons that he's evaluating the options of what to do and I think it's something he should speak about. But all is good, all is good, we'll see what happens. Toto Wolff said in an interview, as reported by AutoSport
