After the news of Lewis Hamilton’s 2025 Ferrari move took the F1 world by storm. Even after the first race’s completion the speculations surrounding Hamilton’s successor are going around. In the swirl of these rumors, many names were brought up, including the name of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen

While previously Red Bull’s advisor Marko Helmut had made it clear, that Verstappen is currently very happy with the team, and wishes to stay with the team for now, the claims were taking turns. Marko recently claimed that he would not block the Dutchman from leaving Milton Keynes. The reigning world championship himself took it very lightly. As it is common in the F1 world for rumors like these to go around. Since things were getting out of hand, Max Verstappen decided to shut them down for once and all.

Max Verstappen in a tough spot at Red Bull

Last month the news of an investigation that was launched against Christian Horner, came to light. A female employee accused the team principal of inappropriate behavior. While Red Bull had hired an outside barrister for the case, Horner was cleared of allegations ahead of Bahrain GP. However, things took a turn for the worse when an anonymous mail was sent to important personalities of F1 which contained allegedly leaked evidence including Max Verstappen’s father Jos Verstappen

In the wake of a contentious tirade against Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, Max Verstappen has stood up for his father Jos Verstappen. Horner’s position was unsustainable, according to the former F1 driver The father of Verstappen claimed that if Horner stayed on the team, Red Bull Racing would “explode” in the coming weeks.

With ongoing controversy, the team has become a target, and Jos Verstappen stated over the weekend in Bahrain that Red Bull’s current state is not good for the team. While people have a different take on this ongoing controversy, Max Verstappen has remained loyal to his father. However, the 26-year-old has not expressed his own take on this issue for the time being.
