Martin Brundle snubbed by Cara Delevingne on grid before British Grand Prix

The F1 world is upset with Cara Delevingne after she snubbed reporter Martin Brundle on the grid prior to the British Grand Prix.

Before the race, Brundle attempted to chat with the model while she was on the grid. When she declined, the beloved reporter clearly became disgruntled with her attitude.

“She doesn’t want to talk, but everybody talks on the grid. That’s the deal now,” Brundle explained. “Can we have a quick chat? … It’s good to see you on the grid.”

When Delevingne continued to decline, Brundle tried to explain that everyone on the grid was expected to talk. After a few attempts, the reporter eventually walked away mocking the model, saying, “I’m sure it would’ve been extremely interesting.”

After the video surfaced on Twitter, everyone jumped to Brundle’s side.

“Absolute brutality from Martin Brundle,” one social media user wrote. Another on Twitter added, “Martin Brundle roasting Cara Delevingne will never not be funny. You don’t say no to the King!”

Let this be a lesson to anyone who attempts to avoid Brundle while on the grid before the race. If you decline to talk to the reporter, he might walk away and roast you.

And the fans will absolutely stand by his side.

Martin Brundle has funny moment with Paolo Banchero

One year ago, Brundle made an embarrassing mistake while on the grid, confusing Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Fortunately, he got redemption this year.

Before this year’s Miami Grand Prix in May, Brundle caught up with Banchero, this time knowing exactly who he was talking to for the interview.

“I found Paolo Banchero! I found him last year, I just didn’t get the name right in the beginning,” Brundle said after finding Banchero.

“It’s been a hell of a year. And I’m honored that you know my name now, man,” Banchero responded. “It’s been a hell of year. And you’re great at what you do.”

See how easy that was? Even though Brundle mixed up Banchero for Mahomes, the NBA star was still more than willing to take a few minutes and speak with the reporter. It’s really not that much of an inconvenience.
