Lewis Hamilton will join the Ferrari F1 team for the 2025 F1 season. His move has sent shockwaves throughout the sport and while people are excited about the prospect, F1 pundit, Martin Brundle , has cast doubt around his chances of winning the coveted world championship with the Italian outfit.

Since the end of the turbo hybrid era, Mercedes has not been able to provide Lewis Hamilton with a championship-worthy car. It has been a huge struggle for him and his recent decision, has mainly been prompted by this.

The 39-year-old feels he can win his record-breaking eighth world title with Ferrari, but, Martin Brundle seems to believe in a different line of thought. While talking about the same on Sky F1, he said,

He can win races with Ferrari. Can he win another world championship? Tall order, lot of good kids around!!

The vastly experienced F1 pundit has made it known that despite moving to Ferrari in 2025, it will be extremely difficult for Hamilton to win a world championship. Brundle ardently feels that the young talent on the current grid is immense and thus, it would prove very difficult for the seven-time world champion to achieve his goal.

Lewis Hamilton will partner up with the prolific Charles Leclerc in 2025

While Martin Brundle has left no stone unturned in casting doubts over Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari prospect, the latter will partner up with the young sensation, Charles Leclerc in 2025. The Monegasque is one of the fastest drivers on the current F1 grid.

Former 4-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel, had an extremely hard time dealing with Leclerc during their time together, and the same could happend to Hamilton. During the 2020 F1 season the latter outperformed the German as Leclerc managed a P8 finish in the championship with 98 points whereas Vettel, was only able to put on board a mere 33(13th place).

Lewis Hamilton will be 40 years old when he joins Ferrari, and considering this, it will be fascinating to see how he would stack up against Charles Leclerc. The 2024 F1 season is just around the corner and there are definitely going to be several storylines based around Hamilton and Ferrari throughout the campaign.
