Four-time world champion Alain Prost claims his career is ‘completely underrated’ in F1

Alain Prost is the fifth on the most wins list in the sport behind Sebastian Vettel, but still, he feels he is underrated. While shedding light on the same recently, he said, as reported by Motorsport Magazine:

I do ask myself sometimes how I am going to be remembered. It sounds like a joke but I’m completely underrated! I know that. I can see. I don’t know why, but it’s my brand in a way. It looks like it stays that way forever, it is part of the history.

The 68-year-old has somewhat downplayed his illustrious career at the pinnacle of motor racing. Winning four world championships is no joke. But despite this, Prost feels that he does not get the kind of recognition that in his opinion, he deserves.

The fierce Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna’s F1 rivalry

While Alain Prost has admitted that his F1 career is underrated, during his prime years, he had one of the most famous rivalries in the history of the sport, with the late. three-time world champion, Ayrton Senna.
