David Coulthard slams transparency demands in Red Bull’s Christian Horner investigation, insists people want to ‘stroke the fire’

Christian Horner , the Red Bull F1 team principal, has been slammed from all angles because of the inappropriate behavior allegations. While Red Bull GmbH declared him clear of it after an extensive investigation, people in the paddock are not pleased with the lack of transparency in the matter.

Prominent figures like Toto Wolff and Zak Brown have repetitively called for transparency regarding the whole saga. During the Saudi Arabian GP, Christian Horner was in the firing line for varied reasons, and amidst his woes, ex-Red Bull driver, David Coulthard has come forward in his defense.

The 52-year-old feels that people who are calling for transparency only want to stir the pot further in the Horner saga.

I think that there’s obviously a call from those who want to continue to stoke the fire. And there’ll be maybe those who are just looking for the good of the fan base to ask for a bit more transparency, but it’s a private matter. David Coulthard said, as reported by PlanetF1

Horner had an extremely tough time answering various kinds of questions during the Saudi Arabian GP weekend. Moreover, there have been rumors swirling that he could be sacked as Red Bulls’ team principal ahead of the upcoming Australian Grand Prix.

Woman involved in the Christian Horner saga all-set to appeal after Red Bull suspension

While David Coulthard has made it known that the Christian Horner saga in a private matter, things have taken a nasty turn. Red Bull recently suspended the woman who accused Horner of inappropriate behavior and amidst this, it has come to light that she is looking to appeal against the outcome of the inappropriate behavior investigation.

It has been reported that the the woman involved in Horner saga is not pleased with Red Bull dismissing her allegations. Moreover, in order to put forward a strong appeal, she has decided to switch lawyers.

The Red Bull boss pleaded with the media in Jeddah to put the inappropriate behavior saga to bed, however, with the most recent development, there is no way people are going to let it slide. Next week’s Australian Grand Prix weekend could prove to be an extremely busy one for Christian Horner for all the wrong reasons.
