Chris Noth cut from 'And Just Like That...' finale

And just like that, Big is gone for good.

According to TVLine, Chris Noth's cameo in HBO Max's Feb. 3 And Just Like That... finale "will not make it to air."

"According to sources, And Just Like That’s creative team ultimately decided that the minimal footage Noth had shot with [Sarah Jessica] Parker on location in Paris was not integral to the scene, which is about Carrie finding closure via the spreading of Big’s ashes," TVLine relayed. "An insider notes that the finale was not locked at the time that the allegations against Noth were made public."

Entertainment Tonight provided additional insight from an unnamed inside source, saying, "it wasn't a major overhaul since Chris was killed off early and was to reappear later in the series finale." Another source told the outlet, "that the decision to remove Noth from the show was agreed upon by the cast, writers and producers. To reiterate, the source says they all support the women who have bravely come forward."

On Dec. 16, two women came forward through The Hollywood Reporter to allege separate accounts of sexual assault. The next day, a third woman came forward with a similar alleged experience, as told to The Daily Beast. Noth has denied all allegations.

By Dec. 20, SATC-turned-AJLT stars SJP, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon released a joint statement supporting "the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences."

Noth played Mr. Big since Sex and the City's 1998 premiere.

And Just Like That..., HBO Max's limited series revival of SATC, premiered Dec. 9.
