Found March 25, 2013 on The Cardinal Connect:
Dear Ashley Judd, I’m writing you in response to your tweet Saturday night in which you praised Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals. Maybe all Louisville fans don’t agree with me, but I found it offensive. Although I hope otherwise, I find it hard not to think that your tweet was simply a ploy to gain votes in your upcoming political campaign. You can say that it’s because of your history of rooting for Pitino, or you appreciate watching a great basketball team, or that a National Championship for Louisville is great for the state, but it just doesn’t feel that way. It is true that some of this country’s most successful politicians are also well accustomed to being called flip-floppers, but the flip that you flopped is much more devastating than most. This is not about Republican v. Democrat or Liberal v. Conservative, this is Cards v. Cats. You of all people should know how important this issue is to our state, you have been the face of Louisville’s mortal enemy for over a decade....
