Few places have been immortalized in film more times than New York City. From mafia movies to starry-eyed rom-coms and everything in between, the Big Apple has often served as the backdrop to tell some of the film world's best stories.

There's constant name-dropping of neighborhoods, the restaurants they love, and plenty of quintessentially NYC problems.
