PLAYERS: Lance Armstrong
Thia just hit the associated  press a couple hours ago With stunning swiftness, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Thursday night it will strip Lance Armstrong of his unprecedented seven Tour de France titles after he dropped his fight against drug charges that threatened his legacy as one of the greatest cyclists of all time. Travis Tygart, USADA’s chief executive, said Armstrong would also be hit with a lifetime ban on Friday. And under the World Anti-Doping Code, he would lose the bronze medal from the 2000 Olympics as well as any awards, event titles and cash earnings   In June The USADA has brought new allegations against former cyclist and marketing icon Lance Armstrong. • And so the USADA won this one. Really, they didn't win, they lost, they lost on counts that they couldn't prove with all their tests that he was suppose to have done what they claim he did. And the most ridiculous of reasoning that because he dropped out of the fight he is guilty, this isn't the dark ages or maybe it is for them They think they are the grand inquisitor, well if you believe in that stuff.
  • The USADA is recognized by the U.S. Congress as the official anti-doping agency for OLIMPIC, Pan American and Paralympic sport in the U.S. This means that Congress approves of the USADA's obsessive wild west lawless tactics, or does it? Write your Congressman and ask him/her were he/she stands on the USADA representing Congress. So where to from here? Where will Travis Tygart's and Jeff Novitsky's short circuited brains and oversized egos go next. Michael Phelps you have won a lot of medals. Hmm. Watch your back.
