Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming revealed that MS Dhoni had a chat with him about relaying the captaincy baton during last season's title-winning campaign. The decision that was made public two days ahead of their season opener against KKR was a move that was in the pipeline for a while, with Dhoni taking the call on the timing of it. CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan also told the official team website that Dhoni had had conversations with Ravindra Jadeja after the conclusion of the last season about taking up more responsibility.
