As Mumbai Indians (MI) gear up to face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL, MI uploaded a video of Rohit Sharma remembering the time he was a “small boy”. In the video, Sharma and Romario Shepherd spoke about a photo of the former in the dressing room.

The photo was from 2007, during India’s 2007 T20 World Cup campaign. It looked like it was taken after India had beaten Pakistan in the finals of the tournament. Romario Shepherd noticed the photo and called Rohit Sharmayoung Ro”.

Small boy. No beard. I was struggling to get a beard. Rohit Sharma said

Sharma played an integral part in India winning the 2007 T20 World Cup. In the four matches he played, he scored 88 runs in three innings. This also included a crucial 30* off 16 against Pakistan in the finals, which led to India winning the tournament.

Rohit Sharma confirms MS Dhoni is coming to USA, but not for cricket

Rohit Sharma recently featured in the Club Prairie Fire podcast, where he was interviewed by the hosts, Adam Gilchrist and Michael Vaughan. In the podcast, he was asked about the wicketkeeper selections of the team and asked if there was a good chance MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik would be a part of the team.

Sharma spoke about how well the two veterans have played in the IPL so far, adding that Dhoni’s consecutive sixes against Mumbai Indians were the reason Chennai Super Kings won. He confirmed that Dhoni won’t be available, but Karthik is a possibility.

It'll be hard to convince MSD for sure to come to the West Indies I guess. He is sick and tired. He is coming to the US though to do something else. He is into golf, so he will play golf I guess. DK will be easy to convince I guess. Rohit Sharma said

Both Dhoni and Karthik have performed well in the ongoing IPL. Dhoni scored 59 runs in four innings with an incredible strike rate of 236. Karthik has scored 226 runs in 6 innings. His last innings saw him smash 83 off 35 while chasing 278
