Vols DL Tyler Baron had a terrific reaction to his touchdown against UConn
Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Tennessee Vols defensive lineman Tyler Baron accounted for one of UT's three defensive touchdowns in the Volunteers' 59-3 win against the UConn Huskies this past weekend.

In the second quarter, Baron returned a UConn fumble 24 yards for a touchdown, extending Tennessee's lead to 35-3.

The touchdown was the first of Baron's collegiate career.

After the game, Baron was asked about the touchdown. And he admitted that the had some "PTSD" because he thought the touchdown might get called back.

"There was a little PTSD to be honest," said Baron. "I thought it might get called back, but I'm just appreciative of the whole defense."

Baron's comment was a reference to the Ole Miss game two years ago. Rebels quarterback Matt Corral appeared to fumble in the first quarter of Ole Miss' win against Tennessee. But forward progress, for some reason, was called and the play was whistled dead, wiping out Baron's score.

Luckily for Baron, the fumble in the UConn game was obvious and there was no need for a review.
