USC Football: Trojans Target WR Commits to SEC Competitor
USA TODAY Sports

The USC Trojans have been bolstering the team through the transfer portal, landing many defensive acquisitions like Kamari Ramsey and John Humphrey.

Lincoln Riley has been busy ensuring that the Men of Troy are going to be well-equipped to hang in the Big Ten Conference, but they have now missed out on a big-time player.

Chris Brazzell who played for Tulane has officially committed to Tennessee. Brazzell finished the 2023 season with 711 yards and 5 TDs. He would have certainly been a welcome addition to the WR room for the Trojans.

The Trojans could do well with adding more WR talent after they have already lost Raleek Brown, Michael Jackson III, and Mario Williams to the transfer portal.

Losing out on Brazzell certainly stings, but the hope is that Riley can find some more talent via the transfer portal soon.

USC did land Will Howard as a new transfer portal QB, and he could be the starter that is needed for transfer portal players to want to switch gears and come play for the Trojans.

The transfer portal is still loaded with talent, and though losing Brazzell is disappointing—the Trojans can still find some quality receivers in the coming weeks.
