UCF lands commitment from former Arkansas QB
KJ Jefferson Brett Rojo-USA TODAY Sports

UCF landed a big commitment on Monday.

Quarterback KJ Jefferson announced that he would be committing to play at UCF. Jefferson announced the news with a post on his Instagram page.

Around the same time Jefferson said he would be returning, receiver Kobe Hudson also said he would be back for UCF.

Knights head coach Gus Malzahn was pretty pumped about the news.

UCF just completed its third season under Malzahn and went 6-7. They have made the move to the Big 12, so the road is even tougher for them going forward. The program had six straight winning seasons prior to switching to the tougher conference.

Jefferson played at Arkansas from 2019-2023. He passed for 2,107 yards, 19 touchdowns and 8 interceptions this season. He also rushed for 447 yards and 2 touchdowns.
