The Tennessee Vols have one of the top 15 fastest players in the SEC on their 2024 football roster.

On Monday, 247Sports ranked the top 15 fastest players in the SEC. And Vols wide receiver Squirrel White, a rising junior, came in at No. 11 on their list.

From 247Sports: Squirrel White developed into a go-to players on third down for the Vols' passing game last season as a sophomore, recording 67 catches for 803 yards. According to the University of Tennessee, White's been clocked at 23.4 MPH on the Catapult system and once led all SEC freshmen in explosive plays (2022). With a nickname like Squirrel at 5-10, 165 pounds, No. 10 in orange must always be accounted for when Tennessee has the football from the slot position.

White may be one of the most underrated players in the SEC. Tennessee fans appreciate the Alabama native, but it seems like he doesn't receive nearly enough attention outside of the Volunteer state.

The former three-star recruit had a tremendous sophomore season in 2023, catching 67 passes for 803 yards and two touchdowns, nearly doubling his production from his true freshman season.

With Nico Iamaleava set to take over at quarterback for the Vols in 2024, it wouldn't be a surprise to see White surpass 1,000 receiving yards in his junior season.

By the way, Tennessee will take on the two fastest players in the SEC (per 247Sports) in 2024. Kentucky wide receiver Barion Brown is at No. 1 on their list while Arkansas wide receiver Jordan Anthony is at No. 2.
