The Tennessee Vols are still looking to add to their 2024 roster via the NCAA transfer portal.
Tennessee is reportedly in the mix for two of the top wide receivers in the NCAA transfer portal.
On3's Pete Nakos reported on Thursday that Tennessee "plans to make a push" to land Texas A&M transfer wide receiver Evan Stewart.
Nakos also noted that the Vols are in the mix for Tulane transfer wide receiver Chris Brazzell.
"Tennessee plans to make a push to land the Texas A&M transfer, especially if things fall through with Tulane transfer Chris Brazzell," wrote Nakos.
According to Nakos, it's still a "little early" to name a leader for Brazzell, but he noted that Washington, Utah, Tennessee, and Colorado are the names to watch in that battle.
Stewart is a former five-star recruit who was rated as the No. 6 overall player in the 2022 recruiting class. He caught 91 passes for 1,163 yards and six touchdowns during his two seasons with the Aggies.
Brazzell, meanwhile, caught 44 passes for 711 yards and five touchdowns in 2023.
Both players will likely command large NIL deals, but Stewart, thanks to his status as a former elite five-star recruit, could be more expensive. Tennessee has shied away from getting into bidding wars for transfer players which seemingly makes Brazzell a more likely addition for the Vols.
Update: Brazzell committed to the Vols on Thursday afternoon.
