Tennessee Vols cornerback Kamal Hadden is one of three former UT players -- along with quarterback Joe Milton and running back Jaylen Wright -- that's considered a "lock" to be selected in the 2024 NFL Draft later this month.
Hadden, who had a terrific 2023 season before suffering a season-ending injury in Tennessee's loss to Alabama, is currently being viewed as one of the top value picks in the draft.
The Michigan native isn't expected to be an early round selection, but he could be a steal for whoever drafts him in the middle to late rounds.
Earlier this week, Pro Football Focus pointed out that Arizona Cardinals as an NFL team that would be a great fit for Hadden on day three of the draft.
From PFF: A shoulder injury ended the Tennessee cornerback's promising final season in October. He had earned a 72.5 PFF coverage grade or better in seven of eight starts to that point. From 184 coverage snaps, he allowed just 12 receptions for 96 yards and recorded three interceptions and six pass breakups.
Kamal Hadden (Tennessee) is an underrated CB in this class. Out of 400 qualifying CBs in 2023:

Yards/Tgt: 2.91 (3rd)
Yds/Snap: 0.52 (20th)
Passer Rtg Allowed: 7.0 (1st)
PFF Coverage grade: 90.4 (5th)

Hadden's shoulder injury last season likely hurt his draft stock. But even though the former Vol probably won't be selected as high in the 2024 NFL Draft as he's hoping, he's still going to get a chance to make an impact for an NFL team.
