The NFL landscape saw a major change on Monday, as the Green Bay Packers elected to trade future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.
The two teams exchanged some picks, in order to complete a deal that will mark the first time since 2004, which was Rodgers' final year at Cal that he won't be playing for the Packers. A move that now clears the way for former first round pick Jordan Love to finally get a chance to start, and a move that former Cardinal Richard Sherman was not fond of when he was discussing it on a recent episode of his podcast on Volume Sports.
Sherman expressed that nobody will have any fears of playing the Packers moving forward, and even went as far to say that the fans of the team didn't appreciate Rogers as much as they should have.
Over his career, Rodgers has thrown for over 59,000 yards, 475 touchdowns, and even led the Packers to a championship.
The 39-year old will now look to take his success to New York, and is hoping to bring them their first Super Bowl since 1969.
