The Ohio State Buckeyes have bolstered their offensive skills positions via the transfer portal , the Wisconsin Badgers have found a versatile and talented linebacker, and Coach Prime Deion Sanders has found a productive, all-conference receiver to catch passes from Shedeur Sanders.

RB Quinshon Judkins

Ohio State Buckeyes (from Ole Miss)

5’11”, 210 lbs.

A former freshman-All-American and 2X All-SEC performer, Quinshon Judkins comes to Columbus with 2,723 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns in two seasons while at Ole Miss. 

In 2023, Judkins posted four games of over 100 yards rushing, including three in a row. Against Texas A&M, Judkins rushed for 102 yards and three TDs in a 38-35 win. 

Judkins is the first SEC since Herschel Walker to score 15 or more rushing touchdowns in each of his first two seasons.

WR LaJohntay Wester

Colorado Buffaloes (from FAU)

5’11”, 167 lbs.

LaJohntay Wester is a versatile, all-purpose scoring threat, and holds the FAU career record for receiving yards (2,703), receptions (252), and receiving touchdowns (21). 

In 2023, Wester caught 108 balls for 1168 yards and eight touchdowns, all single-season records for the Owls. In addition, Wester returned a punt for a score and scored a rushing TD on his way to being named All-American by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA). 

Against UAB, Wester hauled in 11 catches for 219 yards and three touchdowns, and scored a rushing touchdown in 45-42 loss.

LB Tackett Curtis

Wisconsin Badgers (from USC)

6’2”, 225 lbs.

A true freshman for the Trojans in 2023, Tackett Curtis racked up 40 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and a fumble return. Curtis is a hard charging, versatile athlete that will fill a position of need for Badgers Head Coach Luke Fickell.

As a 4-star athlete out of Many (La.) High School, Curtis was named Louisiana Mr. Football in 2022 after leading Many to the Class 2A State Championship and was named the game’s MVP. 

During the regular season, Curtis played quarterback on offense, and linebacker safety on defense. Under center, Curtiss rushed for 1,115 yards and 11 touchdowns. 

On defense, Curtis recorded 112 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, six sacks, and picked off three passes. Curtis will have three years of college football remaining.

DL D’Quan Douse

Michigan State Spartans (from Georgia Tech)

6’2”, 290 lbs.

With 69 career tackles to his credit, D’Quan Douse moves to East Lansing to play for Jonathan Smith and the Spartans. While at Georgia Tech in 2023, Douse recorded 35 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble. 

Against Ole Miss, Douse recorded eight tackles and one tackle for loss. Douse is the latest in a string of productive players that Smith and the Spartans have landed from the transfer portal.

DB Tamarion McDonald

Louisville Cardinals (from Tennessee)

6’2”, 208 lbs.

The Louisville Cardinals continue to pickup commitments form talented players in the portal, with Tamarion McDonald being the latest acquisition. In 2023, McDonald logged 40 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, four pass breakups, and one INT. For his college career, McDonald racked up 105 tackles, four INTs, and 8.5 tackles for loss.
