Ole Miss predicted to lose commitment from Tennessee Vols transfer
Caitie McMekin/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK

Earlier this offseason, the Ole Miss Rebels picked up commitments from Tennessee Vols transfer players Tyler Baron and Tamarion McDonald

But that doesn't mean that both of those players will for sure be playing in Oxford in 2024.

In fact, on Monday, On3's Pete Nakos predicted that McDonald, a defensive back, will flip his commitment from Ole Miss to Louisville.

Earlier on Monday, Louisville landed a commitment from Tennessee transfer safety Wesley Walker

This is Walker's second transfer. He previously transferred from Georgia Tech to Tennessee ahead of the 2022 season.

January used to be a relatively quiet month for college football outside of high school recruiting. But it's now one of the most important months of the year when it comes to building a college football program.
