Legendary Florida State coach Bobby Bowden tests positive for coronavirus

College Football Hall of Fame coach Bobby Bowden told ESPN on Monday that he tested positive for the coronavirus.

Per Mark Schlabach, the 90-year-old who famously guided the Florida State Seminoles from 1976 through 2009 believes he caught the virus when he was hospitalized last month because of a leg infection.

"I don't have much energy," Bowden remarked to ESPN. "Other than that, nothing else has changed."

Bowden won two national championships and 12 ACC titles during his tenure with FSU. He retired after the 2009 season with a career record of 377-129-4.
